The Alpha Leadership Association is a private-law nonprofit legal entity. The registration certificate, tax certificate and founding documents published here document the association’s legal identity and purpose.

The association’s purpose and commitments

The constitutional deed of 6 October 2015 sets out the objectives and rules below. Completed activities are presented separately on the Activities page.

Leadership and education
The association’s purpose is to support leadership development. Its objectives include educational and community projects, courses, workshops, conferences and exchanges of experience.
Scholarships and access to learning
The association’s objectives include offering scholarships and facilitating access to formal or nonformal education in Romania and abroad.
Civic participation and volunteering
Its objectives include engaging young people and adults in civic activities serving their communities and organizing volunteering within the association’s areas of activity.
Assets dedicated to the mission
The constitutional deed requires the association’s assets to be used exclusively to fulfil its purpose.

Organization set out in the 2015 constitutional deed

The constitutional deed of 6 October 2015 defines the responsibilities of the association’s governing, administrative and internal financial control bodies.

General Assembly
Under the deed, it comprises all association members and approves the association’s strategy, budget and balance sheet.
Board of Directors
The deed provides for the Board to administer the association according to the responsibilities set out in the document.
Internal financial control
The deed sets out rules for a financial controller (cenzor) or a committee of financial controllers, and for members outside the Board of Directors to exercise control under the conditions it specifies.
